At Aravali Institute of Technical Studies (AITS), we believe that college life is a vibrant blend of rigorous academics and unforgettable memories. Our campus calendar is filled with a variety of celebrations that bring our community together, foster a spirit of camaraderie, and provide a stage for every student to shine. These events are more than just parties; they are milestones that mark the beginning, the journey, and the new beginnings that lie ahead.
Every year, we roll out the red carpet to welcome our new batch of students to the AITS family. The Fresher’s Party is designed to be a fun-filled icebreaker, helping juniors connect with their seniors and faculty. It’s an evening of music, dance, games, and laughter that sets the tone for a fantastic academic journey. We believe a terrific team is built on a strong foundation of friendship and mutual respect, and this celebration is our first step in creating that bond.
Every ending paves the way for a new beginning. The Farewell celebration is a heartfelt tribute from our juniors to their graduating seniors. This grand event is a night of emotional speeches, mesmerizing cultural performances, and nostalgic photo sessions, all dedicated to honoring the contributions of the final-year batch. It’s a day to reminisce about cherished memories and to send our AITSians off with our best wishes as they step into the professional world where a bright future awaits them.
Aroma, our annual cultural fest, is the most anticipated event on the AITS calendar. It’s the essence of creativity and jubilation, where students showcase their exceptional talents and competitive spirit. The stage comes alive with:
The event culminates with a prestigious prize distribution ceremony, where students are recognized for their outstanding achievements in academics, culture, sports, and other extracurricular activities.
On September 5th each year, we celebrate Teachers’ Day to honor the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great philosopher and an inspiration to the Indian education system. Our students take the lead in organizing a heartfelt celebration to express their gratitude to the faculty and staff. The day is filled with speeches, poetry recitations, and fun-filled games, making it a truly special and memorable day for our educators.
Every March 8th, AITS proudly celebrates International Women’s Day. We dedicate this day to honoring the achievements of women and advocating for gender equality. The event features inspiring talks from prominent women leaders of the city, who share their views on women empowerment and professional growth. The celebration also includes student-led events like rangoli, poster, and collage competitions, where students creatively express their thoughts on women’s rights and empowerment.
Every year on August 15th, our campus fills with a sense of patriotism and pride as we celebrate Independence Day. The day begins with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by the stirring notes of the national anthem. Students and faculty come together to remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters through inspiring speeches, patriotic songs, and vibrant cultural performances. It’s a day dedicated to honoring our nation’s heroes and recommitting ourselves to the values of unity, integrity, and progress that make India great.
January 26th is celebrated with great reverence at AITS. Republic Day is a day to honor the rich diversity of our nation and the democratic values enshrined in our Constitution. The celebration includes a ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by speeches from our leadership that remind us of our duties as responsible citizens. Students showcase the incredible cultural heritage of India through traditional folk dances, songs, and skits, creating a vibrant spectacle that captures the true spirit of “unity in diversity.”
Diwali, the festival of lights, brings a unique sparkle to the AITS campus. The celebration is a community event that brings students and faculty together to share joy and create beautiful memories. The campus is adorned with colorful lights and traditional diyas, and the festivities include:
The arrival of Lord Ganesha on our campus for our annual Ganpati Pooja is a time of immense devotion and festivity. A beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha is installed, and for several days, the campus resonates with daily prayers and cultural events. Students and faculty participate with great enthusiasm in the aarti and devotional songs, seeking blessings for success, knowledge, and prosperity. The celebration culminates with a solemn and joyous procession for the immersion ceremony (Visarjan), trengthening our community bonds and filling our hearts with devotion.
Makar Sankranti marks the end of winter and the beginning of longer, brighter days.
